Did You Miss Our Latest Book Signing with Mary Keith?
On Friday evening, local author Mary Keith stopped by the library to discuss her debut children's book Little Sister and the Gink-A-What. Mary's book is a true story about Little Sister (Mary) and the GINKABOODLE, an animal that lived in Mary's brother, Jimmie's, imagination.
It's a fantastic children's book that truly illustrates the imagination alive in every child's mind. The artwork on the cover (pictured above) is the original drawing of the famed GINKABOODLE, drawn by Jimmie when he was only ten years old.
Little Sister and the Gink-A-What is illustrated by another local author, Sally McAfee. Sally's children's book is titled My Orange Tree: a True Story.
