Do You Have Some FREE Time This Summer? Volunteer at the Library!

There are many reasons to volunteer at the library. Having an interest in the library and a passion for the written word are just a couple of reasons why many people choose to volunteer their free time. Finding the right motivation to give up your free time this summer or year round is the place to start. What motivates volunteers to share their skills at the library?

Here are a few of my favorites:
  1. to do your civic duty
  2. to learn something new
  3. to be challenged
  4. to make new friends
  5. to explore a career
  6. as therapy
  7. to earn academic credit
  8. to be part of a team
  9. to build your resume
  10. to be an agent of change

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with:
